What did the tripartite meeting take place in Cape Naqoura, in southern Lebanon?


The Army Command – Directorate of Orientation issued the following statement: “On 10/27/2020, a tripartite meeting was held in Ras Naqoura headed by the Commander of the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon – UNIFIL and the head of the mission, Major General Stefano Del Col, in the presence of a delegation of Lebanese army officers headed The coordinator of the Lebanese government to the United Nations forces, Brigadier General Hasib Abdo, discussed the recent incidents that took place along the Blue Line.

The Lebanese side condemned the continuous fires aroused by the Israeli enemy on the borders, and reaffirmed its commitment to the UN resolutions, especially Resolution 1701 and all its components, and stressed the need for the Israeli enemy to withdraw from all occupied territories, including: the areas adjacent to the north of the Blue Line, the Shebaa Farms, the Kfarshouba hills and the district.
