The source said in an interview with Alsumaria News, “A protester was killed today, Friday, and dozens were wounded, including 9 with a gunshot, as a result of clashes and a fight between protesters and supporters of the Sadrist movement.”

On Friday, a number of protesters’ tents were burned after a quarrel between supporters of the Sadrist movement and demonstrators in Al-Haboubi Square in the city of Nasiriyah.

A security source said that at least 10 people were wounded after a quarrel between demonstrators and supporters of the Sadr movement in Al-Haboubi Square, the stronghold of the protests in Dhi Qar Governorate.
