New Volvo … a two-in-one electric car
Company revealed “VolvoSweden reports its “C40 Recharge” electric car.
According to reports, this vehicle is the second battery-powered electric vehicle from Volvo after the “XC40 Recharge”.
The company notes that the new car has all the advantages of an SUV, but with a lesser and more elegant design.
The C40 Recharge is estimated to have a range of 340 km, based on an EPA standard. According to the company, the “C40 Recharge” is powered by two electric motors, one in the front and the other in the rear of the car, and there is a 78 kW battery – 75 kW of which is usable – to power the twin-motor powertrain with a total of 402 hp.
According to “Volvo”, the battery in the car is charged from 0 to 80 percent of its capacity in 40 minutes via the quick charger system with a capacity of 150 kW.
It is noteworthy that “Volvo” recently announced that it will manufacture electric cars only by 2030, indicating that it will gradually stop production of all cars with internal combustion engines.

Self-driving car test at BP
A self-driving car developed by Oxford University has undergone tests inside a working BP oil refinery in northwest Germany. The Oxpotica drove more than 180 kilometers around the site in Lyngen, completely autonomously, despite the presence of a safety driver behind the wheel in an emergency.
