After Twitter launched the feature to show the number of times a Tweet was quoted within the Retweet counter, it is now seeking to separate it and place it below the Tweets.
Each tweet has a number of numerical indicators, such as the number of likes, the number of comments and the number of times of retweeting, and soon another indicator will be added to it, which is the number of times it was quoted and put its link in another tweet, or what is known as retweeting with comments.
Practically, Twitter started a few months ago by displaying the number of quotes under the name “Retweets with Comments” under each tweet, and now this matter is confirmed and not just a test, but it will appear under the name “Quotes”
Under each tweet, the number of quotes appears, that is, the number of times the tweet is retweeted with a comment on it within the new tweet, or its link is included in the tweet and commented on.
Twitter had begun displaying the number of retweeting with comments for some of its iPhone users, after pressing the retweet times to separate those that were quoted with a comment about which was just a retweet, and now that it has been confirmed and its name changed, it will be available on Android and the web as well.
During the past months, the new feature has gone through several modifications to the design to choose the best way to display it. Perhaps the use of the phrase “quotes” is shorter and more expressive than “retweeting with comment.”
