Entry visa to Oman

Anyone who does not possess Omani citizenship must obtain an entry visa that allows him to travel to the Sultanate of Oman, which can be guaranteed to be obtained through Muscat International Airport or through the website of the Royal Oman Police It is worth noting that there are two types of visas that allow entry to Oman:[1]

  • One-time entry visa, and the visit lasts for 10 days.
  • Single entry visa, and the visit lasts for 30 days.

Among the places that can be visited in Oman are the town of Misfat Al Abriyeen, Masirah Island with its beautiful beaches, the city of Bahla famous for its distinctive architecture, and the city of Salalah, which is located in the south of the country and was the home of Sultan Qaboos and is also famous for its architecture, in addition to the Jabal Al Akhdar and Ras Al Jinz area, which is considered a protected area. Turtles in the Indian Ocean and tourists enjoy watching turtles there, and tourists are encouraged to visit Nizwa and Muscat as well.[2]

Best time to visit Oman

The weather in Oman is similar to the weather in the rest of the countries of the Arabian Peninsula, where the summer is hot, while the winter is close to the winter of the Mediterranean countries, and during the summer months from March and April to September and October, the weather is hot, but from May to July it can be Temperatures reach 40 degrees Celsius, so tourists are not advised to visit during this period, with the exception of the city of Salalah, where the weather is mild.[3]
