The people of Silwan repel the attempt by settlers to storm the Al-Ain area

Jerusalem sources reported that settlers tried to perform Talmudic rituals in the place and celebrate what is known as “the Hebrew New Year.”

Residents were able to prevent settlers from reaching Ain Silwan, but they performed their rituals near one of the water channels in the Al Bustan area.

The courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, since Sunday morning, witnessed intense incursions by settler groups in special costumes, coinciding with the so-called New Year of the Hebrew.

And it is expected that many shrines, shrines and religious sites in the West Bank will witness incursions by settler groups under the pretext of celebrating the Jewish holidays.

In a periodic report issued by the media office of Hamas in the West Bank, violations of the occupation escalated in the West Bank and Jerusalem during the month of August. It also doubled its violations of the rights of holy sites and the settlers’ storming of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque.

According to the report, the occupation forces and settlers committed (24) attacks on places of worship and holy sites, while the number of settlers who stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque reached (1599) settlers.
