Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the (non-governmental) committee, said in a statement: “An emergency government should be formed with the participation of all forces and factions, and coordination of popular activities on the ground in the framework of confronting the dangerous steps of the occupation.”
He stressed “the necessity of a rapid joint plan that translates Palestinian reconciliation into a practical reality, as it is the first option at this stage, capable of reuniting and forming a force capable of a real confrontation with the Jewish settlement project, the annexation project, the century deal, and the Gaza blockade.”
He pointed out that Palestinian reconciliation is “an additional force step that is more influential at the Arab, Islamic and international levels.”
Al-Khudari said that “the initiation of the interim leadership framework for the Palestine Liberation Organization is a very important step in this direction, and capable of making a qualitative development towards achieving and achieving reconciliation.”
Last Thursday, a joint press conference was held between the Secretary of the Central Committee of the “Fatah” movement, Gabriel Rajoub, who was in the West Bank city of Ramallah, and the deputy head of the political bureau of the “Hamas” movement, Saleh Al-Arouri, who participated via video conference technology from the Lebanese capital Beirut.
