Taxi fare flying in Damascus with this excuse !!

The Syrian newspaper, Al-Watan, quoted Syrian citizens who complained that taxi drivers were being paid double wages in Damascus, under the pretext of waiting for long periods at gas stations to obtain gasoline, or having to buy it at the free price from the black market.

To investigate the matter, Al-Watan newspaper contacted the Director of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection in Damascus, Uday Shibli, who confirmed that cooperation with the police would take place, and that all of the traffic and supply agents would be directed to control any violation of overcharging. About the fees paid, in order to arrest the violators and refer them to the judiciary.

Shibli asked citizens to inform the concerned authorities of the car number in the event that the taxi driver gets overpaid wages, to take deterrent measures against anyone who blackmails the citizen.
