Sony today announced the launch of headphones WH-1000XM4 Wireless in the Middle East and Africa, and represents the fourth generation of the company’s award-winning 1000X class noise canceling technology. The speaker is characterized by preserving the advantages of the previous generation WH-1000XM3, in addition to a number of smart features that allow the feature of volume control, increase the noise canceling level, and automatically adjust the surrounding sounds.
The WH-1000XM4 includes a high-resolution noise-canceling QN1 processor and a new audio system called BLUETOOTH Audio SoC. It provides a great experience with it, because it contains the best noise cancellation technology from Sony to reduce loud and medium audio signals, thanks to the microphones available in each side and works to cancel the noise through the dual sensor technology that captures the surrounding sounds and transmits it to the QN1 high-resolution noise cancellation. BLUETOOTH Audio SoC, the chip-supplied system, captures data to adjust music sound 700 times per second.

With Edge-AI artificial intelligence technology, DSEE ExtremeTM technology reassembles missing audio with greater precision in digital music compression for an integrated, more precise experience, says Sony. Edge-AI technology contributes to real-time music analysis to distinguish the instruments, genres, and individual elements of each song to restore a wide range of sounds lost by compressing music files for a richer and richer listening experience. To build the AI, Sony worked with its Sony Music Studios in Tokyo to collect data on music to gain real insight into the elements that contribute to the composition of specific musical signs.
The new 360 Reality Audio technology can also be utilized via the WH-1000XM4 headphones when downloading the Streaming Services app to Android or iPhone phones. Which in turn transforms the sound of the entire ocean in a more realistic fashion.
There is an Adaptive Sound Control system that can now automatically distinguish surrounding sounds and automatically adjust the sound after recognizing the site you are visiting regularly. After a while, the system begins to recognize the places you visit regularly, such as the workplace, the gym, and the coffee shop to adjust the sound to suit the surrounding environment. The Sony | Headphones Connect App users can enjoy the feature of automatically updating the surrounding sound system when switching between places.
There is also an innovative Speak-to-Chat feature that allows communicating with individuals on the spot while keeping headphones, such as ordering coffee while listening to music. The headphones can recognize the user’s voice when starting to speak, which means that they will stop the music, so that you can listen to the surrounding sounds and communicate without the need to remove the headphones, and the music continues playing after 30 seconds have passed since the last word the user said. Besides, the WH-1000XM4 Quick Attention system enables users to communicate with individuals while retaining headphones by placing the right hand on the ear piece to immediately lower the volume and listen to the external sound.
Sony’s new WH-1000XM4 headsets come with the ‘headphone wearability’ feature, which identifies the headphones wearable position to control music playback and keep battery longer. With this feature, the headphones stop playing music when removed from the ear and continue to play it automatically through a sensory sensor and two acceleration sensors to provide maximum comfort when using the headphones.
The headphones add Precise Voice Pickup technology that controls five microphones in the headphones for advanced audio processing to capture sounds with clarity and accuracy to make hands-free calls.
The headphones can be connected to more than one device and switch between devices with ease
WH-1000XM4 headsets allow connecting with two devices at the same time thanks to Bluetooth technology. When receiving a call, for example, the speakers recognize the receiving device and connect the user directly to it. Headphones can also be switched between the two devices with one click.
The speaker supports NFC and bluetooth technology with a 30-hour battery that can charge 10 minutes and play for 5 hours.
It also supports Google’s Fast Pair feature, to allow the user to know the location of the speaker via ringing sound.
The new speaker also provides support for the Google Voice Assistant and the Alexa Assistant from Amazon to enable the user to do tasks faster.
