Sons of Moses, peace be upon him

The people of knowledge mentioned that the Prophet of God Moses – peace be upon him – had married the daughter of the Sheikh whom he met in Madyan, and he had known her and her sister when he helped them and watered the sheep for them, so they mentioned him well in front of their father and he was an old man, so the Sheikh offered him to marry him one of his two daughters In return for him to be rented for eight years and he would tend the sheep for him. Indeed, Musa married one of the two daughters, and it was said that her name was Saffora, and she bore him two boys whose names were not mentioned. He carried them and their mother after the end of his rent period for the sheikh back to Egypt. It is mentioned that this sheikh who met the Prophet Musa – Peace be upon him – there are several sayings; It was said that he was the Prophet of God Shuaib, peace be upon him, and it was said that he was his nephew or his cousin, and it was said that he was a believing man from the people of Shuaib.[1][2]

God’s word to Moses

On that journey in which the Prophet Moses moved from Madyan to Egypt back to his country, God Almighty spoke to His Prophet Moses, and inspiring him with prophecy and the message, and his will for him to come to Pharaoh calling him to single out worship and unification of God Almighty, and it was reported that Moses and his family when they were In the darkness of the night and the coldness of the cold, they cross the lands on foot. Moses could not light a fire in this atmosphere, but he found a light that he thought was a fire from afar, so he left his family in their place and went towards it in order to get something from the fire, as soon as he moved away from his family and his son until he heard the words of God -تعالى- له، قال الله تعالى: (فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِي يَا مُوسَى*إِنِّي أَنَا رَبُّكَ فَاخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى*وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَى*إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي).[3][4]

Moses’ call and prophecy

God – the Most High – mentioned the news of Moses – peace be upon him – calling his people to worship God – the Most High – in many of the Qur’anic surahs, as this was mentioned in the Suras of Al-A’raf, Yunus, Taha, poets, stories and others, and the first thing mentioned from the story of Moses – peace be upon him – his confrontation and his call to Pharaoh He claimed divinity, but Pharaoh insisted on his position and did not concede to God’s Prophet Moses, so God – the Most High – informed him of his doom and the salvation of Moses and his people from his tyranny.[5]
