How to remove the smell of garlic from the mouth

There are some different ways to get rid of this smell or reduce it, which means that it can be eaten without thinking about its disadvantages, and below we will mention some of these methods:

Reduce food odor

  • Eating fruits: The same properties that cause oxidation in fruits (which turn brown when bitten) also combat garlic odor, and some of these fruits include: apples, pears, peaches, peaches, apricots, grapes, cherries, and eggplant.
  • Eating vegetables: Some certain vegetables are very effective in combating the compounds found in garlic and onions as well, and these vegetables include spinach, lettuce, and potatoes, and it is recommended to eat them with meals rich in garlic or onions.

  • Drink a glass of milk: Milk has been shown to be effective in combating unpleasant breath odor caused by eating garlic, and whole milk, in particular, by reducing the concentration of foul-smelling compounds in the mouth.
  • Drink acidic drinks: Lemon, grapefruit, and cranberry juice help fight the odor-producing enzymes in garlic.
