During a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Friday, President Rouhani congratulated the Turkish government and people on the occasion of the blessed Eid al-Adha, expressing his hope to continue cooperation between the two countries and exchange experiences between them to control the Corona disease.
The President of the Islamic Republic pointed to some issues and problems in the region, hoping that security and stability will be established throughout the region through efforts and cooperation by all its countries.
President Rouhani pointed to the unjust US embargo against the Iranian people, adding that in these circumstances, further development of relations and cooperation between friendly and neighboring countries such as Iran and Turkey should be further developed.
For his part, the Turkish President congratulated this phone call on the occasion of the blessed Eid Al-Adha, expressing his hope that this holiday will be a source of goodness and blessing for the peoples of both countries and for all Muslims in the world.
Erdogan praised the successful efforts made by the Iranian government and people in confronting the Corona disease, stressing the need to develop cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries in this field.
The Turkish president pointed to the need to develop relations and trade and economic cooperation between Iran and Turkey and speed up the completion of trade exchange with commitment to health protocols, expressing his hope that the meeting of the Supreme Council for Strategic Cooperation between the two countries will be held in the near future.
