NVIDIA has released a new interview video with some of the crew at CD PROJEKT RED, who are working to bring the Night City to life complete with a brand new game montage. Cyberpunk 2077 has also got updated recommended system configurations which call the Officially Recommended GeForce RTX 3070 GPU for ray tracing.

The video features gameplay with ray tracing and NVIDIA DLSS, and goes deep into using these technologies to make the environment even more immersive. Of particular interest is the difference that ray tracing makes in the day / night cycle in the game. The video serves as a stunning highlight of the “day in the life” inside Night City by showing many of the game’s previously undisclosed scenes.
With RTX turned on, Night City turns on. Impressive reflections are cast with rays on every possible surface; Significantly improved shades soften naturally; Shops, streets and buildings are realistically lit with diffused lighting; And in general the world is more detailed.

CD PROJEKT RED has also updated recommended system configurations for Cyberpunk 2077 to include recommended GPUs for Night City Experience in all its glory with RTX ON. The GeForce RTX 3070 is the officially recommended ray-tracer.
