Making lemonade jam

the ingredients:

  • kilograms of lemongrass peels.
  • A glass of orange juice.
  • One and a half kilograms of fine sugar.
  • two big spoons of lemon juice.

How to prepare:

  • Cut the lemongrass peel into small pieces, and soak it in water for at least twenty-four hours, taking into account changing the water three times during this period.
  • The meringue is removed from the water, placed in a bowl, and then covered with water.
  • The pot is lifted over the fire, and the lasagna is half-boiled.
  • Remove the meringue from the pot, add sugar, juice, and lemon to the water, and leave the mixture to boil for a quarter of an hour.
  • Add the boiled meringue to the mixture, and leave it until it becomes soft.
  • Jam is placed in sterilized glass jars, and the jars are placed in a cold water bath until completely cooled, then closed, and kept.

Making strawberry jam

the ingredients:

  • One and a half kilograms of strawberries.
  • kilograms of fine sugar.
  • two big spoons of lemon juice.
  • A sprinkle of vanilla.
  • Two cups of water.

How to prepare:

  • Wash the strawberries well, drain the water, and remove the green sticks.
  • Mash the strawberries using an electric mixer.
  • Put the mashed strawberries in a bowl, add sugar and water to it.
  • Put the pot on a moderate heat, and leave until the mixture reaches the boiling point, taking into account the constant stirring.
  • Reduce the heat, add lemon juice, vanilla, and leave the mixture for an additional half an hour.
  • Pour the jam into glass jars, and close tightly.
  • Leave the jars aside to cool completely, then keep them in a cool place.

Making apple jam

the ingredients:

  • Two kilograms of apples.
  • Four teaspoons of lemon juice.
  • One and a half kilograms of fine sugar.
  • A teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

How to prepare:

  • Wash the apples well, and remove the stalks and seeds.
  • Grate the apples in a bowl, add sugar to it, and put in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  • Remove the pot from the refrigerator, add lemon juice to it, and raise over a low heat until the mixture boils and turns into a thick jam.
  • Add the cinnamon, and stir the jam for an additional three minutes.
  • Leave the jam to cool, then fill it in sterilized glass jars, close tightly, and store in the refrigerator.
