Lincoln is also the capital of Nebraska, located in the southeastern part of the state, 95 kilometers southwest of Omaha.

It has extensive railroad connections, an airport, and is famous for agricultural products such as corn, soybeans, and wheat. Lintz Center for Asian Culture
The Lintz Museum displays a diversity of Asian culture through beautiful antiques and unique art collections. These exhibits include Asian musical instruments, paintings, and sculptures. Examples include sculptures of Japanese culture and Chinese porcelain. This museum was established in 1986 and is an extension of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln.
The Nebraska Jazz Orchestra has been performing for more than 25 years, with musicians playing a variety of big band compositions, and this reputable orchestra participates in many annual concerts and special events across the United States.
