Kofta Meat Ingredients

  • A kilo of finely chopped meatballs.
  • One head of onion, finely chopped.
  • Half a cup of chopped parsley.
  • A spoonful of mashed garlic.
  • a teaspoon of salt and black pepper.
  • A cup of white flour.
  • Vegetable oil for frying.

Milk Ingredients

  • A kilo of curd.
  • One scrambled egg.
  • spoonful of starch
  • A cube of chicken broth.
  • Small spoon of salt.
  • ¼ cup of chopped green coriander.
  • One tablespoon of dried mint.
  • A spoonful of mashed garlic.
  • A spoonful of vegetable oil.

  • Two cups of short grain rice.
  • A quarter cup of vermicelli.
  • Two and a half cups of hot water.
  • Two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • Small spoon of salt.

How to prepare kofta with milk

  • Put the kofta meat in a large bowl, add the parsley, onion, garlic, and stir the kofta until all the ingredients are homogeneous.
  • Season the kofta with salt and black pepper and roll it into medium-sized balls.
  • Put the white flour in a single bowl and pass the kofta balls in the dish until the flour is completely covered.
  • Heat the vegetable oil, then put the kofta balls and leave them until they turn red and acquire a reddish-golden color.
  • Remove the kofta balls from the oil and drain the excess oil by placing them on blotting paper.
  • Put the amount of milk in a medium-sized saucepan and beat with a blender until it becomes liquid.
  • Add the egg, starch and salt, and whisk the milk for another minute.
  • Put the pot on the fire and continue to stir and stir until the milk begins to boil.
  • Add the chicken stock cube and a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Put the fried kofta balls in milk and leave them for a quarter of an hour until they acquire the flavor of milk.
  • Put a tablespoon of vegetable oil in a small frying pan over the fire, then add the coriander, dried mint and garlic, stir the ingredients a little, then pour it over the yogurt and the kofta balls.
  • Leave the kofta with the milk for an additional five minutes.
  • Pour it into a serving dish and serve it with white rice.

Rice preparation method

  • Wash the rice well with lukewarm water three times.
  • Soak the fizz in warm water for a quarter of an hour.
  • Add two tablespoons of vegetable oil in a saucepan on the fire, then add the vermicelli, stir in the oil until it becomes golden brown.
  • Add the soaked rice after draining it from the water, stir it with the vermicelli, then add two and a half cups of water.
  • Add salt and leave the rice for five minutes on high heat until it begins to boil, then reduce the heat and leave it to simmer quietly for a quarter of an hour.
