Khatib Zadeh wrote in a tweet to him on the social networking site “Twitter” this evening, Saturday: The official statement of the Iranian Foreign Ministry about the end of arms restrictions on arms exports and imports will be issued within hours.
He added: Iran, by producing more than 90 percent of its defense needs at home, is in need of dependence on the outside.
Khatibzadeh stressed, saying: Our main priority will always be peace and stability in the region.
It is noteworthy that according to Annex 5 of the nuclear agreement and Appendix B of Resolution 2231 issued by the UN Security Council in 2015, the arms restrictions on Iran will end after 5 years, that is, tomorrow, October 18.
