More iPhone 12S rumors
A new report has appeared from Bloomberg magazine, known in the business field, talking about the upcoming iPhone, which seems to be coming under the name iPhone 12S instead of iPhone 13 as we had expected until very recently.
Apple considers the upcoming phone from the iPhone series as an S phone and not a phone with a new number, and this means that the company does not plan to offer major developments in the phone in a transitional fashion, as we have seen with the iPhone 11 and iPhone 12 as an example.
But although the company does not plan for this, this does not mean that we will not see major developments on the next iPhone phone, according to the same report, Apple began testing a built-in fingerprint with the iPhone 12S and may justify this move because all phones come with OLED screens this year .
According to Bloomberg, Apple was one of the first companies that decided to completely abandon the fingerprint technology, although it was one of the first companies that supported it and worked to install it in its devices with 5S devices, but abandoned it completely in the iPhone X, as we have seen.
What supports this speculation is that Qualcomm, which is responsible for providing Apple with its 5G processors, announced this month a new fingerprint sensor that is much faster than the existing sensors, of course, Qualcomm and Apple’s relationship is more than excellent over the years so we may see this new sensor in IPhone 12s phones.
In fact, this is not the first time that we heard this leak, according to another report that appeared in 2019, Apple is planning to launch an iPhone with a fingerprint sensor under the screen and a FaceID fingerprint in 2021 and it seems that the rumors will support this.
There is no information or rumors yet about removing the charging port in exchange for a phone that charges and deals completely wirelessly, and personally, I think Apple will provide this until the launch of the iPhone 13.
It is worth noting that the iPhone 12S will not be the only new thing this year, so it seems that Apple is planning to launch an iPad in the economic category, but with the same design as the iPad Air 2020, which is the new design that Apple will adopt in the future for all its devices and phones.
