  • Three cups of white flour.
  • One teaspoon each of salt and baking powder.
  • 1 tablespoon each of sugar, instant yeast and nigella.
  • Two tablespoons of powdered milk.
  • A quarter cup of corn oil.
  • A cup of warm water.

Stuffing ingredients

  • Two tablespoons of corn oil.
  • 200 grams of minced meat.
  • Chopped green onions.
  • A clove of crushed garlic.
  • ¼ cup each finely chopped sweet red and green pepper.

  • A century of chopped hot green pepper.

How to prepare

  • Put two and a half cups of flour in the bowl of the electric mixer, then add salt, sugar, yeast, baking powder, powdered milk and nigella, then install the dough hook, and turn it on for several seconds until the ingredients are mixed.
  • Add the oil and water, work on a slow speed until you have the dough and separates from the edges of the bowl, then gradually add the rest of the flour if you notice that the dough is still soft, then run the mixer on a low speed for five minutes until you get a smooth and elastic dough.
  • Shape the dough into a circular disk, then put it in an oiled dish, then grease its surface with oil, cover it with a piece of nylon, and put it in a warm place until it doubles in size.
  • Meanwhile, put the corn oil in a frying pan over a medium heat until hot.
  • Add the meat and stir with a wooden spoon until its water dries up and becomes dark in color.
  • Add the onions, garlic, red and green peppers, parsley and hot pepper, then stir all the ingredients well for about two minutes, then remove the meat from the heat and leave it aside until it cools completely.
  • Add eggs, salt, turmeric and black pepper, and stir the meat with it until it mixes well with the eggs.
  • Put the egg yolks and milk in a small bowl, and stir with a fork, and bring a wide brush.
  • Cut the dough into two parts, and cut one of them into two pieces.
  • Put the first part of the dough on a surface sprinkled with flour, then roll it out using a rolling pin until you get a circular shape the size of the same circular oven tray, then put it in the bottom of the tray so that it covers the bottom and edges.
  • Pour the meat mixture over the dough in the tray.
  • Roll the second part of the dough into a circle using a rolling pin, then place it on the meat mixture.
  • Roll out the second small dough until it is very thin and cut it using cutters of different shapes.
  • Brush the face of the dough with a wide brush with the mixture of egg yolk and milk, then spread the dough shapes beautifully on the dough.
  • Put the dish in a warm place until the dough doubles in size again.
  • Put the dish in the oven and leave it for a quarter of an hour until the color of the face of the pie becomes golden, remove it and serve it warm.
