How to prepare

  • Season the fish with pepper, salt, and olive oil, then put it in a baking tray, and put it in an oven at a temperature of 250 degrees Celsius, from ten to fifteen minutes until the fish is ready, then remove the tray from the oven and set it aside.
  • Prepare the tahini sauce by mixing lemon juice, tahini, and water in a bowl, and whisking the mixture until it becomes homogeneous and smooth.
  • Put the olive oil in a medium saucepan and raise it on the fire until the oil heats up, add the onions to it and fry for five minutes, or until it turns golden yellow, then add the additional amount of water to it, and leave it on a low heat until the water boils and evaporates completely.
  • Pour the tahini mixture, and the two cubes of vegetable broth over the ingredients, and leave the mixture over a medium heat with constant stirring until it boils, then turn the heat to low and leave it for five minutes, then remove it from the heat.
  • Put the prepared fish fillet in a serving dish, pour the sauce on it, and serve it with white rice.

Preparing the tahini sauce:

  • Put the tahini in a pan, add the caramelized onions, lemon juice, mashed garlic, salt, orange juice, and pepper, stir the ingredients together to form a paste, then add the fish broth.
