How to hide the Quick Access menu from Windows 10

The Quick Access menu is the menu that appears in the file browser window with Windows 10 and looks at the left side of the screen and shows the places you visit continuously and permanently inside your computer from certain folders or even certain hard drives.

The idea of this menu is very similar to the Bookmarks list of internet browsers and reading programs, and it depends on saving places that you need to visit quickly or with one click to save you a lot of time, and in fact it can save a lot of time on Windows 10 systems and their disks.

But if you are a fan of extra privacy and want to hide the places you frequently visit on your computer and hide easy and fast access to these private folders, do not worry, there is a very quick and easy solution to be able to do this.

Hide the Quick Access menu:

The method of hiding the list is very easy and it simply depends on a small modification that takes place inside the Registry, but not in the usual way, you must access it through the command interface and to be able to do this follow the following steps:

    • Search for CMD from the Windows operating menu and then click on it with the right mouse button to be able to open it with Run As Admin privileges as you can see in the image below:How to hide the Quick Access menu from Windows 10 2

If you do not have something that you want to hide or worry about privacy matters, personally I do not advise you to remove the Quick Access menu and this is because it is very useful especially if you like me who love working with computers and who need many files on their computer, this method will help you to Accessing all the files you want to access is very easy and fast.
