  • Self-assessment, where a person must evaluate his interests, skills, and readiness for some professions over others before looking for a job.

  • Choosing the right job, the person should choose the profession that will cause him the most satisfaction based on the information he has collected about each of them, and he should be aware of the possibility of changing the job if he wants to do so at any stage of his life.
  • Setting goals, once the choice is made, the person must set long-term goals to include completing education and training, which takes two to three years, and short goals, which include internships, which need less time and may take a maximum of six months.
  • Writing a business plan for employment, a person must develop a professional action plan with specific points steps to reach his goal in the short and long term.

  • Earnings and incentives, as the base pay should be appropriate for the type and amount of work the person has to do.
  • Getting to work, a person must know the world of commuting to reach the workplace and whether he needs to travel or go on a long trip, and what is the daily cost of getting there.
  • Promotion opportunities, the person should check that the job will give him an opportunity for advancement, growth, development and self-skill development.
  • The extent of independence, the person must know the extent of his ability to tolerate supervision from others or to be subject to partial management that works to organize it better, by asking for specific details of the job, and he must also know what this job will provide to the company or society.
