The Spanish newspapers “AS” and “Marca” reported today (Tuesday) that Moroccan right-back Ashraf Hakimi will move to Inter Milan from Real Madrid for 50 million euros (56.05 million dollars) after going through two seasons on loan in Borussia Dortmund, according to the agency Reuters.
Hakimi was photographed while arriving in Milan today to undergo a medical examination, as well as publishing a farewell message to Dortmund through his account on the “Instagram” application.
The AS report said Hakimi, 21, will sign a five-year contract with Inter.
Hakimi, who graduated from Real Madrid Academy, participated in 16 games with the first team in the 2017-2018 season, but the opportunity to continue in the long run was limited by Danny Carbajal and the signing of Spanish international Alvaro Udriozola in 2018.
Hakimi participated in 45 games in all competitions with Dortmund this season, scored nine goals and made ten to help the team finish second in the German league behind the Bayern champion.
“The time has come to end a wonderful period of my life,” the Moroccan player said on Instagram. After two great years, I have to leave this club, which gave me many happy moments. ”
