The Ministry of Health said that dozens of them children died by drowning due to the floods, especially in the governorates of Marib and Al-Hodeidah.
To that, the General Authority for the Preservation of Cities and Historic Monuments in Yemen sent a call for help to international organizations to save the historic city of Sana’a, which was damaged by the rains. The rains led to the collapse of more than ten houses in the old city of Sana’a, dating back more than a thousand years. Many specialists attribute this damage to the Saudi aggression, as they say that the aggression has a fundamental role in sabotaging thousands of bridges, roads and water barriers, which led to the intensification of damage to citizens’ properties and the sinking of many cities.
