It seems that Facebook has taken an additional step to integrate and integrate its applications together, this time through chatting. Where a pop-up screen appeared while opening Instagram stating the arrival of an update that integrates Messenger with it in terms of chat.
Facebook has included a bunch of new features in Instagram chat, such as a colorful look for conversations, interacting with messages with emojis, dragging to reply – all of which are provided by Messenger – and most importantly speaking with your friends on Facebook.
Once Instagram has been updated, the new interface will notice that the private messages icon will be transformed into a Messenger logo.
This is the first step towards realizing Mark Zuckerberg’s new vision of uniting communication platforms together so that the user can chat with any other user on the rest of the Facebook applications, and this will include WhatsApp, Instagram and Messenger.
Zuckerberg promises that user communication will be encrypted between all applications. There is still plenty of time to complete this integration, which will include the features as well, so that a user through any application can communicate in any way (text – audio – video) with another user without the need to exit the application.
It is noteworthy that the company acquired Instagram in 2012 for one billion dollars and WhatsApp in 2014 with 19 billion dollars, and with their access to more than 2.1 billion active users, Facebook is thus the largest competitor to the iMessages service from Apple.
