Children of the Messenger of God, peace be upon him

The Prophet – may God’s prayers and peace be upon him- begot four daughters and three sons, all of them from Khadija – may God be pleased with her – with the exception of Ibrahim, and the following is mentioned in the news of the sons and daughters of the Prophet, peace be upon him:[1]

The Prophet’s daughters are four, all of them are from Khadija, may God be pleased with her, and they embraced Islam with their father and migrated with him in different periods of time. As for Zainab, who is the eldest of them, she remained for a while with her husband, who is a polytheist in Mecca, until he was captured by the Muslims in the Battle of Badr, so the Prophet released him In return for sending him his daughter Zainab, so her husband did, then he announced his conversion to Islam and emigrated in the sixth year of migration, and Zainab returned as his wife at that time. him until she died in the ninth year of migration, and the last of the Prophet’s daughters is Fatima – may God be pleased with her – and she married Ali, and she was the first to die after the death of the Prophet – peace be upon him.[2]

The sons of the Prophet – may God bless him and grant him peace – are three; Al-Qasim, by whom he was nicknamed, and Abdullah, nicknamed the Tayyib Al-Tahir; Because he was born after the mission, and al-Qasim and Abdullah died young in Mecca, and it was said that al-Qasim died before the prophecy. The eighth hijra, but he also died young.[3]

I love the children of the Prophet to him

Fatima – may God be pleased with her – was the most beloved of the Prophet’s daughters to him, the most similar to him in character, and the longest in company with him, as she died after him, and he had told her before his death that she was the first of his family to follow him, and so it was.[4]
