“The complaint touched on issues of violation of the right of Azerbaijani citizens to life, freedom from prosecution and torture, freedom of religion, property, and freedom of movement, as a result of nearly 30 years of Armenia’s occupation of the Karabakh region and seven adjacent Azerbaijani regions,” the agency added.

In the document, “evidence is listed”, that Armenia has not taken any measures to investigate the fate of 3,890 Azerbaijani citizens who went missing as a result of the conflict.

The document indicated that evidence was presented that the Armenian armed forces bombed many Azerbaijani cities and villages, far from the battlefields, during the recent escalation, and used cluster bombs, phosphorous shells and ballistic missiles, killing 93 people, including 12 children, 423 civilians were injured and 264 houses completely destroyed.
