America and its allies bear responsibility for the wounded by the chemical bombing of Sardasht

A permanent representative of Iran to the United Nations Office in New York, Majeed Takht Rouenji, posted on Twitter on Monday a film about the statements of Zbigniew Brzezinski, the Polish-American politician and national security adviser in the Jimmy Carter administration, and wrote that “after thirty-three years of chemical bombing of Sardasht in Iran , This wound is still not healed, and the victims of this attack are still suffering, especially the wounded who were afflicted with Covid 19.

“The United States and its allies, who have provided Saddam with all kinds of support, including chemical weapons, must bear responsibility in this context.

On July 28, 1987, the Baathist regime in Iraq bombed with chemical weapons four points in the city of Sardasht, killing 119 civilians and wounding more than 8,000.
