Stretching exercise

It is performed by standing against the wall, slowly raising both arms above the head until you feel the stretch of the abdominal muscles, maintaining this position for 5 seconds and then relaxing, and this exercise can be repeated 10 times per day in order to increase the flexibility of the muscles next to the stitches.[1]

Leg gliding exercise

This exercise is done by lying on the floor with the knees bent and both feet fixed on the ground, and it is recommended to wear socks or leave a towel under the feet in order to facilitate their sliding, then take a deep breath, and exhale, and take into account when taking it out, tighten the abdominal muscles towards the spine, and extend one Slowly legs away from the body until they are fully extended on the floor, and slowly return to the starting position, and it is recommended to repeat this exercise 10 times for each leg.[2]

Walking and stationary cycling

The mother is advised to walk and cycle stationary three times a week, as this will help her burn fat, lose weight and get rid of flatulence, and she can also use other exercises such as weight lifting exercises after a period of birth.[3]
