Qualcomm is preparing to announce the official announcement of the Snapdragon 875 chip at an event to be held on December 1, and the latest reports have revealed that the chip supports 5 phones in the first quarter of next year, with one of the versions coming with Quick Charge 5 charging capacity of 100W.
The latest leaks that came through the Digital Chat Station showcased new details about the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor chip, as the chip will be launched to support 5 premium-class versions of the phone manufacturing giants during the first three months of 2021.
According to the leaks so far, it is expected that the Galaxy S21 series phones will be among the first releases to be launched with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip, as the chip has already been spotted supporting one of the series versions in benchmark tests.
The OnePlus 9 Pro was also spotted in Geekbench with a Snapdragon 875 processor chip, as the leaks indicate OnePlus officially announces this version at the end of March.
Xiaomi also joins the companies that offer the Qualcomm chip in the Mi 11 Pro, as Xiaomi is expected to be the first Chinese company to introduce the chip in the premium versions of the Mi 11 series.
On the other hand, some leaks indicate that Meizu will also introduce a Qualcomm chip version in the first quarter of 2021, while the leaks confirm that LG will not present its first release with the Snapdragon 875 chip in the first half of next year.
Also, the leaks did not explain the version that applies to the new Quick Charge 5 technology with a capacity of 100W, but the leaks that came so far revealed Samsung’s support for the Galaxy S21 series with fast charging technology of 45W in particular in the Ultra version, which is the highest version of the series.
On the other hand, both OnePlus and Xiaomi offer their own technologies in fast charging, so the versions of these companies will not come with the new Qualcomm Quick Charge 5 technology with a capacity of 100W, so we have to wait for the announcements next year to know more clearly the version that supports this technology later.
